services.
There is often a service on the Thursday before Easter. This is
to tie in with Jesus's last supper.
Friday before Easter is known as Good Friday. This is often when
parades are held, sometimes with wooden crosses.
On Easter Sunday itself there may be an early morning service to
remember that Mary went early to the tomb.
Ask at your local church or look at their noticeboard for information
on the services available. |
You may want to go to a church service and then have an easter party
at home. You could do egg hunt games and have a special easter cake decorated
with chicks!
Hot Cross Buns are said to have a cross to symbolise the cross on which
Jesus died.
